About Present Help by June

I founded Present Help to offer supportive, educational, and non-clinical coaching that complements the medical care clients receive from their oncology teams. My coaching draws on two decades of oncology experience while staying firmly within the scope of non-clinical support.

I provide guidance around treatment expectations, symptom understanding, practical skills, appointment preparation, caregiver support, and navigating the emotional and spiritual strain of a cancer diagnosis.

Experience Highlights

Over 20 years in oncology across community and regional cancer centers.

Hundreds of chemotherapy and systemic therapy administrations.

Lead role in an innovative digital symptom-monitoring pilot.

Extensive experience supporting patients and families through complex decision-making

Deep commitment to whole-person support — physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational

Philosophy

I am grounded in the belief that people need not just information, but presence, reassurance, and a compassionate companion through difficult moments. My work is inspired by the Medicine of the Person approach — meeting each person where they are with dignity, empathy, and hope.

Outside of practice, I am a mother, an outdoor enthusiast, and love to travel locally and abroad. My work is shaped by enduring spiritual values and the belief that presence can be transformative when life feels uncertain.

“People don’t need more information. They need someone who will listen to them, reassure them, and give them courage.” — Dr. Paul Tournier, Medicine of the Person
